Introduction

Work is the purpose for every human being’s existence. The first thing the Creator gave Mankind was work. He did not tell him to pray, worship, sing, dance or offer sacrifices. He told him “to work.” While worship, prayer and praise is primarily a result of the fall of humankind and is indispensable when put in its righteous place, work was and will always be God’s first priority for Mankind.

The phrase “to work” means ‘to develop into’, ‘to be transformed,’ ‘to evolve,’ ‘to arrive,’ ‘to ripen,’ ‘to serve’ and ‘to become what you were created to be.’ Work is therefore the process, the method, the practice, the transaction, the course and the ultimate action of developing and releasing the gift you were born to discover and serve to the human race.

Never to be confused, debased or demoted to a “job,” work is the gift that manifests our Creator’s purpose and will on earth while a job is simply a temporary location whose only purpose is to train a Man, equip him and discipline him for his or her work.

Through the content and both color and graphite x-rays selected for this book, “A true leader abides in his work,” Nya’ describes and portrays work as a joyous, exhilarating, liberating and Spirit led journey given by Love, authored by purpose, mastered by passion and driven by faith. Through the detailed x-rays taken from his work, “Keeper of Time” that primarily depict the joy, righteousness and peace that envelops a community whose citizens have found their work, Nya’ visually discourses work as a distinct assignment you can never be fired or retire from but must be fulfilled within your assigned time on earth.

In essence, your work is who you are. It is sitting in your place of authority and righteously functioning according to your gift and capacity in your assignment. The elevator to your predetermined leadership position resides in your work and the lion nature and leadership spirit in you that testifies to your divine and eternal origin is manifested through pursuing your work and diligently serving your gift until you command the field of your calling and transform it into a celestial paradise.

Every human being’s work comes pre-packaged with the grace indispensable to develop the capacity to harness the knowledge, intelligence and skill mandatory for its full manifestation. It is a wondrous adventure and unveiling of the inestimable and marvelous gift deposited in him. As alluded to in select x-rays accompanying this book by the light emanating from the bosom of the majestic figures and transforming the entire picture planes grounding the compositions, there is adequate light in every Man’s gift to immeasurably fuel and contribute to the well-being and composite life of the world.

Not bound to an income, salary, pension or a wage, the merits, accolades and rewards of work are invaluable. They defy imagination and the more you refine your gift and serve it with meritorious excellence to initially the field of your calling and eventually the world at large, the higher the human family is honored to reward you for your work.

To comprehend the unutterable glory and wonder of work discoursed in this book; it is sagacious to conclude by reverentially examining the first words Man ever heard after God created him:

“Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

With these very first words the human race ever heard, the first words our physical ears captured and our internal hearing mechanism took in, the first words the human spirit embraced, God divinely entrusted Mankind with everything to be done on earth and work was the tool every human would employ to accomplish His sovereign will and purpose. By commanding this specie of Man that He created in His image and in two models, male and female, to “be fruitful,” God was conferring to humanity the immutable authority, unadulterated power and imperishable capacity to create, to be productive, to be beneficial, profitable and continuously abound, flourish, prosper and succeed.

As you shall discover in this book through the artist’s inspired quotes from his Leadership Lexicon as well as the carefully selected x-rays, it is impossible to separate a human being from his work because work is inherent to his spirit, soul and body. Granted for the recovery of dignity, the restoration of value and the resuscitation and expression of Man’s inherent leadership spirit, work is the only glue that bonds your spirit and soul in perfect harmony in order for your body to adhere to the dictates of your divine purpose and the mandate of your leadership assignment. Work is the purpose Man was created and granted a body to be legal on earth, and work is innately coded to every cell that comprises his being.
