The restorative power of humanity’s mentor

In his book, “The perfect sample of a true leader,” Nya’ selected twelve x-rays from his work, “Heir of Inheritance” to depict and explain how a person without a mentor is void of a ladder, and without a ladder, climbing to his predestined leadership position in the world system he or she was sent to earth to infiltrate, impact, influence and transform remains an empty confession, a fantastic notion and a vain hope.

The artist goes on to describe a mentor as someone whose precepts you desperately seek after, whose Word you revere, whose counsel you heed, whose commands you hastily obey and whose principles you joyously embrace, meditate upon, passionately interrogate and upon understanding, formulate your plan and strategy to deliver you to your objectives and clearly envisaged goals aligned with your divine purpose and assignment.

A keen observance of Nya’s description of a mentor, his discourse on mentorship and the incalculable rewards of seeking the Mentor’s precepts, understanding His concepts, following the mentor’s counsel, obeying His decrees, abiding in His presence while applying His principles that are guaranteed to ascend any Man to their position of leadership in their field of assignment makes it clear that he is alluding to humanity’s perfect model of a true leader and mentor, JESUS.

As the Creator’s conceived idea of Man, the only gate to the presence of God, the creator of all things, the perfect Man, the servant King and the appointed heir and hence humanity’s co-heir of the colony of earth, Jesus is revealed in all 66 books of the Bible. And in this interview, conducted by Konadu Adjare at the artist studio in New York, Nya’ discusses how Jesus is revealed as humanity’s abiding mentor and the perfect sample of a true leader in the first five books of the bible, The Pentateuch.

The artist also discusses how Jesus is either depicted, alluded to or represented in two x-rays from His work, “Heir of Inheritance,” namely “heir of inheritance. x-ray 44” and “heir of inheritance. x-ray 12”

KONADU A.N:

Nya’ let us begin by you explaining why you consider these two graphite x-rays of your work, “Heir of Inheritance” as the ideal illustrations to unveil the answer to the question you believe every human being is inherently seeking the answer to; and that is the question, WHO AM I?

NYA’:

‘Who am I’ is a far-reaching question that cannot be answered through a birth certificate, a passport or a DNA report. The question WHO AM I is rooted in identity and identity is not in gender, nor is it a comprehension of one’s pedigree, neither is it a confident oration of a person’s ancestral lineage...

KONADU A.N:

So, what is identity and how is it related to the question, WHO AM I?

NYA’:

Identity is a natural result of character. However, this character is birthed, incubated, developed and continually abides in the revelation that you were created in the exact image and likeness of your Creator.

KONADU A.N:

In your book, “A true leader abides in his identity,” you shed light on the words, “image” and “likeness” in a way that really makes us understand the text almost hiding the elevated figure in the x-rays.

Could you briefly explain what those two words mean and how they are related to identity?

NYA’:

The root meaning of the word ‘image’  is “original and authentic character;” and the word ‘likeness’ means “to function, operate and behave in the same order and pattern as the original.”

KONADU A.N:

How does one abide in the revelation that He was created in the image or character of his Creator in order to function like Him?

NYA’:

To ‘abide’ means “to permanently dwell and grow into the full stature of who you are.” This therefore means that like the figure in these two x-rays, whose gender and pedigree is unknown, once you begin to live in the revelation of who you are, the desire to conform to the norms of society, escape racial biases and the natural proclivity to follow pathological traits is thwarted and guaranteed to never harass your authentic identity.

You begin to naturally grow in who you are and what you already are, and that is a son of God.

KONADU A.N:

This sounds too good to be true and too easy to do?

NYA’:

Identity is not what you do, it is not where you were born, neither is it the color of your skin. As alluded to through this text lodged across the bosom of the figure in x-ray 32,  [IF WE ARE CHILDREN, THEN WE ARE HEIRS], the question Who am I’ is an ever opulent truth that Man (both male and female) was created in the image or character of God in order to function like Him and hence produce the same results in his field of assignment as if the Creator of the universe was physically residing and working in that domain.

KONADU A.N:

In your preparatory notes for “Heir of Inheritance,” you also mention how knowing one’s value is also important to answer the question, WHO AM I?

But how can a person know his or her value?

NYA’:

Similar to any product, whose value is determined by the price someone is willing to pay to acquire it, the value of every human being was disclosed by the price his Creator paid to redeem him from the slave market of this world’s fear governed systems. His Creator put on human flesh in order to come down to earth to give His body to salvage humanity because Mankind is His Life. It is abiding in this revealed truth of your imperishable value that will enable you to know who you are.

KONADU A.N:

How did you allude to this truth in the x-rays?

NYA’:

Through these wheels within wheels comprising and sustaining  every element in both x-rays.

KONADU A.N:

What do these massive wheels within wheels represent?

NYA’:

The infinite wheels represent the Spirit nature of the Creator. His Spirit descending  to dwell in a human body that it initially breathed life into...

KONADU A.N:

Are you then saying that without the Spirit of his Creator, a human being’s body has no life?

NYA’:

It is only a physical element with a mind, will and emotions but the essence of what created it, “the spirit” is dead...

KONADU A.N:

In all your other x-rays of “Heir of Inheritance” (including  in x-ray 2), this small circle or small dial (as you refer to it in your book) is rendered in gold and you said it represents The Spirit of the Creator (The Holy Spirit) now resident in every born-again human being.

NYA’:

Not only is The Holy Spirit represented, but the body who brought The Holy Spirit back to earth to cleanse our human bodies by His blood so that The Holy Spirit could re-fill us again is also alluded to by that small gold dial.

KONADU A.N:

Does this explain why the phrase  [ IN CHRIS  T ] is inscribed in x-ray 32? Are you stating that every Man’s true identity is In the PERSON of Christ?

NYA’:

As illustrated by the Word of God quickening every element in both x-rays, it is only in Christ that a human can answer the question, WHO AM I?

KONADU A.N:

In essence, what does the term, to be ‘in Christ’ mean and why it is the master key to the question of identity.

NYA’:

To be truly ‘in Christ’ transforms any human being to become a world transformer through his or her unique gift...

As alluded to by the hyperinflating numbers [ 3  39  90 0 ] and [ 1   456  8 ]  around the wheels in both the upper and bottom registers of the picture plane in “heir of inheritance. x-ray 2,” as well as these omnipotent and omnipresent infinite circles emanating from the solid gold dial representing The Holy Spirit, to be in Christ is to be continually transformed from the crown of your head (or your mentality) to your footsteps (your vision and destiny).

KONADU A.N:

How did you also depict this binding relationship of Man and Christ in “heir of inheritance. x-ray 32?

NYA’:

As represented by the coded references [ROM  8 :17]  in x-ray 32 and [1 :11] in “heir of inheritance. x-ray 2” comprising the foundation the figure is standing upon, “a person in Christ is a new established on a new foundation hence growing from a new root.”

KONADU A.N:

How have you indicated this old and new life in the x-rays?

NYA:

The old life is represented by the ashes and stains enveloping the figure in both x-rays; and epitomized by the figure’s bold stance, confident mien, majestic pose and dominating position is this new life or original life Christ brought back to earth and restored it to Mankind by giving us back the Spirit of leadership to righteously plant the culture of Heaven in every world system governing the planet.
