Tablet

A tablet is a rigid flat sheet, plate, plaque, pad or slab used to receive writing. Fundamentally, it is a sacred surface that bears a set of laws, an instruction, a command, or a decree from a distinguished authority. What makes a tablet an invaluable object is not the material used to create it, the authority who wrote on the tablet or where the tablet is kept. But rather, the laws inscribed on the tablet. This is because laws create a culture, and culture creates a society, and a society is a reflection the laws they have obeyed and submitted to.
