Canvas

Canvas is a strong, coarse and unbleached cloth made from hemp, flax, cotton, or a similar yarn. It is an extremely durable plain-woven fabric used as a support for oil paintings, acrylic paintings, collages and for making sails, tents, marquees, backpacks, shelters and other items for which sturdiness is required. It is also used in making fashion objects, e.g. electronic gadgets cases and sleeves, shoes and handbags.
